She carries the weight of the world
Burdens as blessings
Distributing the meaningfulness
As she rests on her side
A Maltese Kwan Yin
Holding 10,000 joys and sorrows
With such ease, inviting
You to do the same, finding
Your own pose, your own poise
To embody the cosmos with care--
A slumbering goddess
Awakening
To what is needed now
Speaking and acting
From the womb of stillness
That will no longer remain silent
